She worked (a lot) alongside six other US college students with Kampung Halaman, an NGO that uses media production to engage and empower youth, and played (a little) as she explored other parts of the archipelago.
"If I had learnt one thing from travelling, it was that the way to get things done was to go ahead and do them. Don’t talk about going to Borneo. Book a ticket, get a visa, pack a bag, and it just happens."
